Mike Tyson’s daughter was found hanging from a cord yesterday. Exodus who is only 4 years old somehow appears to have got caught in the cable that was hanging from a treadmill in the family home. Latest reports are that she is in an “extremely critical condition”.

Kids are durable and hopefully she’ll pull through. Mike Tyson despite his wrongs is still one of my favourite boxers of all time. Iron Mike truly set the world alight when he stepped onto the world scene in his no-nonsense black boots.

Tyson has flown from Las Vegas to the family home in Phoenix on hearing news of the accident. Personally I hope that it’s nothing but good news from here on in.

There’s nothing I like more than a good Cricket test match (well I suppose there are a few things, Siren from Gladiators being one) and so it’s great to see that the summer tour series has finally got going with England playing the West Indies. Unfortunately I’m still stuck in the office which makes watching the cricket live a bit of a problem. It’s the same with every test match, a 5 day game when you only have 2 days of a week!
