Yes folks, it’s that time of the year again when the English domestic cup games come thick and fast and big teams make lots of big mistakes. The FA Cup 3rd Round is always a highlight in my sporting year so lets hope we get a few upsets this year.

Spread over 4 days this years third round features the biggest game in a long while. Manchester United against Man City should be a cracker in the current circumstances. One thing is for sure and that is whoever goes out will be seeing at is a good thing because it will allow them to “concentrate on the league”. Not that any fan ever in the history of football has ever thought that! The FA Cup final is a game that every fans wants to watch their team play in, it’s still along way away yet but for the biggest teams it’s often a case that the 3rd Round is a bigger stumbling block than the 4th or 5th.

Anyhoo, the whole thing gets under way tonight when Liverpool play Oldham at Anfield and ends on Monday Night when Leeds travel to Arsenal. In the mean time football fans are in for a massive weekend of football.
