Sorry I was a bit late with this post, I meant to put it up yesterday but figured what the hell hey, it would wait 24 hours. If you can’t trust a football manager to give an honest assessment of a situation then who can you trust?

Oh, hang on a minute….bugger…looks like Tony Adams has in fact just left Portsmouth with immediate affect. That can’t be right, surely not Tony? I trusted you Tony, you told me that everything was wonderful and that everybody was behind you to do the job? Why did you lie to me Tony? Or maybe this is the lie, it’s all just a joke isn’t it Tony? You’re not really leaving Portsmouth Tony are you? YOU BIG KIDDER!

But then again maybe football IS the most two faced game on the planet. Did the chairman really back Tony or did Tony just assume that was the case, what was said behind closed doors that caused such a drastic change in the situation in such a short space of time. To be honest I don’t know, but what I do know is this. When a manager goes out of his way to deny that there are any problems with him holding on to his job (Tony, Roy) then the chances are they will very VERY soon be parting companies with the club.
