I was watching the first leg of the Champions League semi final between Inter and Barcelona last night, it was a brilliant game I think everybody would agree?

However, there was something that spoilt a lot of the game for me. Why do Italian fans insist on whistling every time 2 players come together? It’s so loud that you can see the players hesitate as if play has been stopped. As somebody watching it at home you are constantly wondering of the ref has blown or not, 90% of the time he hasn’t. It’s a crap way of supporting your team.
